Father Engagement

Providers engage fathers in services that will improve safety, stability, well-being, and permanency for their children. Providers work with DCS personnel to provide assistance and support to fathers whose children are involved with DCS.

Father Engagement summary:

“I feel like you’re the only person in this whole thing who’s on my side. Thank you for having my back.”

The Father Engagement Liaison is an advocate and educator of fathers in our community whose children are involved with the Department of Child Services. In partnership with DCS, Resilient Minds Family Services uses the DCS Family Case Plan and state approved father engagement curriculum to successfully engage fathers in services that will improve safety, stability, well-being, and permanency for their children while helping them navigate DCS processes and legal requirements.
